Friday Favorites – Auntie Gretchen’s Water Infusions (+ Giveaway!)

Confession #90 – I suck at drinking water.  Sorry to put it so bluntly, but it’s true.

As a Beachbody coach, of course I know how important water is for overall health.  And yet, I still struggle.

I used to blame my job.  Nobody wants to leave a group of middle school students unattended…even to use the bathroom.  But I’ve been a SAHM now for a year and my water intake still suffers most days.

Just ask my mom, who reminds me to drink some water every time she is here.  That woman is like a thirsty camel.

And I’m not a soda or juice drinker, but I do love fruit infused water.  That little hint of flavor is just enough to keep me sipping throughout the day…not only is it hydrating, it’s somehow relaxing, too.  Like the Caribbean vacation my husband and I took where we were served water flavored with fresh cucumber and mint or strawberries and sage.

I even remember saying how I was going to make my own flavor infused water when we got home.   Yes…in all my free time.  I love “vacation” me.

Anyway, when the wonderful people at Auntie Gretchen’s sent me a few samples of their All Natural Water Infusions, I was excited to see if it would help me get my daily ounces in.

Auntie Gretchen's Coupon and Giveaway

I added a 1/2 tsp of the Strawberry Basil Water Essence to my bottle of water and was instantly hooked.  The subtle fruit and herb flavor was just enough – not overly sweet or over powering.  And I found myself chugging my bottle of water so I could try the Real Pineapple next.  Another winner!

Because Auntie Gretchen’s uses real organic fruit, it really does taste like you made a pitcher of fresh infused water.  Except you didn’t. No cutting.  No waiting.  Refreshing water in seconds!

The best news?  You use such a tiny amount, it’s literally zero calories.  Zilch.

Want to try it yourself?  Auntie Gretchen’s is giving away Water Essence Assortment packs for THREE of my lucky readers!  There are three ways to enter, so follow the steps below!

And just an FYI, even if you don’t win, you can use the coupon code fitfoodie5  on The Auntie Gretchen’s Site for $5 off any purchase of $20 or more.  Limit 1 coupon per person.  Offer Ends 7/31/16

Auntie Gretchen’s Water Infusions Giveaway

Cheers!

I was not compensated for this post, but I received my Auntie Gretchen’s Water Essence for free in exchange for an honest review based on my experience.

I have a hard time with plain old water, so I constantly have lemons and strawberries cut up for this. This water essence would be great to change up my flavors everyday!

I have a hard time getting my water. This sounds like a perfect solution. All of the flavors sound appealing. The favors that I would like to try the most are orange and pineapple.

Ohhh that strawberry basil sounds delicious!! I am also guilty of looking up at 4:00 and realizing I've only had 2 cups of coffee all day. Water is so blah so this would totally help!!

I do have trouble drinking 64 oz of water daily. I do make infused water with ginger and lemon juice and occasionally fruit, but hate to waste the fruit. I'm anxious to give these products a try.
