Have picky kids (or a picky spouse)? Trying to plan meals for the FIX that work for the whole family? These are some of my readers’ favorites when it comes to family pleasing meals…and some of my own kids’ (and husband’s) favorite dinners, too!

Kid Friendly Meal Plan for the 21 Day Fix with Grocery List
Monday: 21 Day Fix Instant Pot Maple BBQ Chicken (Slow Cooker Option) and Instant Pot Mac and Cheese {Gluten-free}
Groceries:
- 1 to 1.5 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- coconut aminos (or sub low sodium soy sauce if not gluten-free)
- 3 Tbsp pure maple syrup (or sub honey)
- apple cider vinegar
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- sprinkle of sea or Himalayan salt and black pepper
- optional – thickener of your choice (arrowroot, tapioca, cornstarch, etc)
Mac and Cheese
- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2 1/2 cups of chicken broth (can sub water)
- 1 box of elbow pasta (I used gluten free Barilla)
- 4 tsp of vegan butter or ghee (can sub regular butter)
- 2 cups of freshly shredded cheese – I highly recommend sharp cheddar with a small amount (2 T) of pecorino romano mixed in (plus additional for topping, if desired)
- garlic powder
- dry mustard
- Himalayan salt
Tuesday: Taco Pizza {21 Day Fix}
Groceries:
- 2/3 cup of ground turkey
- 2 tsp of salt-free taco seasoning
- 1/3 cup of shredded cheese, (Mexican blend is what I used)
- 1/2 cup fresh salsa, or tomatoes, peppers, red onion and cilantro, diced and mixed
- 1/4 cup of black beans and corn
- lime
- cilantro
- 2 Flatout wraps
- olive oil spray
Wednesday: 21 Day Fix Make Ahead Meatballs (Gluten-free)and 21 Day Fix Homemade Tomato Sauce
Tip! Makes these on Sunday! Easy to freeze or store in the fridge!
Groceries:
- 1/2 cup of fresh gluten free (or other whole grain) bread crumbs (throw a slice in your blender and pulse)
- 3/4 lb ground chicken or turkey
- 1/2 lb chicken or turkey sausage (I used Spicy Italian), removed from casing
- 2 cloves of garlic
- fresh basil
- 1/2 teaspoon of parsley
- 1/3 cup of Parmesan/Romano cheese blend
- 2 tablespoons of chicken broth
- 1 egg
Homemade Tomato Sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 onion
- 4 cloves of garlic, crushed and sliced
- 1 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes
- 1 28 oz can of tomato purée
- fresh basil leaves
Thursday: Asian Style Crock Pot Chicken or 21 Day Fix Instant Pot Asian Chicken
Groceries:
- 1-2 lbs of chicken thighs (1lb for 4 servings)
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1/3 cup of coconut aminos
- 1 T tomato paste
- 2 tsp coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- a dash of crushed red pepper
Serve with brown rice and green beans!
Friday: Momma’s Meatloaf or 21 Day Fix Instant Pot Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes
Groceries:
- 1 1/2lbs of lean, grass fed ground beef
- 1/4 cup seasoned breadcrumbs (we use gluten free)
- 1/4 onion
- 7 cloves of garlic
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup of shredded pecorino romano, plus more for topping (Locatelli brand is the best)
- 1 tsp of dry parsley or 1 T freshly chopped parsley
- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 3 cups of quartered and peeled golden potatoes
- 3 cups of baby carrots
- 3 T vegan butter or ghee
- 1 cup of chicken broth or stock
- salt, pepper
