Confession #16 – I’m still at work, but dreaming of tonight’s dinner – Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers.
Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
5 bell peppers
1 1/2 lbs of shaved lean ground sirloin
1 container of baby bella mushrooms, sliced
1. Sautée onion with 2 cloves of minced garlic. Add 1 1/2lbs of shaved sirloin and cook through. Next, add sliced mushrooms and cook for 5 more minutes.
2. Blanch your bell peppers in boiling water for 5 minutes, then dry. Stuff those beauties with your steak mixture and top with provolone.
3. Bake at 350 for 30 mins under a foil tent. Remove foil for the last few minutes. Enjoy.
