I got myself way off plan last week.
It happens, right?
First of all, I was sick. Somehow ended up with tonsillitis, which I am pretty sure I have never had before. And I really hope I never have it again. Who gets sick in the summer???
And then I made an impromptu trip to the beach with the kids and my mom, eating nothing but blue and yellow containers (aka cheese and crackers, chips and guac) the whole time. Why is snacking on apps so much more delicious after a day at the beach? Anyway, the ocean does the body and mind good and it was awesome to get away for a few days.
So now I am home, making my plan for next week and ready to get myself back on track here. Still not feeling 100%, but good enough to stop making excuses.
I started with my workouts yesterday (Upper Fix) and it felt great, although it’s amazing how taking a week off can make you feel, well, weak!
