Baked Oatmeal Jars

These Baked Oatmeal Jars are pre-portioned, portable, and a perfectly easy way to prep for your week ahead!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cup old fashioned rolled oats we use gluten free
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • sprinkle of salt
  • 1 cup diced fruit berries are a favorite
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

Mason Jars

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and spray four, 8 oz or larger mason jars with cooking oil spray.
  • Mix oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in a medium sized bowl.
  • Add in milk, vanilla, and maple syrup. Stir and allow the milk mixture to seep into the oats.
  • Fold in fruit.
  • Using a ½ cup scoop, portion the oatmeal equally into the mason jars.
  • Bake uncovered on a baking sheet at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until the top of the oats get golden brown.
  • Cool completely, then cover jars and store in the fridge for 3-5 days. To warm, remove cover and add in a splash of water or milk and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds.

8x8 baking dish

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and spray baking dish with cooking oil spray.
  • Mix oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in a medium sized bowl.
  • Add in milk, vanilla, and maple syrup. Stir and allow the milk mixture to seep into the oats.
  • Fold in fruit.
  • Pour oatmeal into baking dish and use a spatula or spoon to even out and make smooth.
  • Bake uncovered at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until the top of the oats get golden brown.
  • To portion, divide entire pan into 4 equal servings and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. To warm, add in a splash of water or milk and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds.
