Baked Oatmeal Jars

- 1 1/3 cup old fashioned rolled oats we use gluten free
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- sprinkle of salt
- 1 cup diced fruit berries are a favorite
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Mason Jars
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and spray four, 8 oz or larger mason jars with cooking oil spray.
Mix oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in a medium sized bowl.
Add in milk, vanilla, and maple syrup. Stir and allow the milk mixture to seep into the oats.
Fold in fruit.
Using a ½ cup scoop, portion the oatmeal equally into the mason jars.
Bake uncovered on a baking sheet at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until the top of the oats get golden brown.
Cool completely, then cover jars and store in the fridge for 3-5 days. To warm, remove cover and add in a splash of water or milk and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds.
8x8 baking dish
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and spray baking dish with cooking oil spray.
Mix oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in a medium sized bowl.
Add in milk, vanilla, and maple syrup. Stir and allow the milk mixture to seep into the oats.
Fold in fruit.
Pour oatmeal into baking dish and use a spatula or spoon to even out and make smooth.
Bake uncovered at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until the top of the oats get golden brown.
To portion, divide entire pan into 4 equal servings and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. To warm, add in a splash of water or milk and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds.
