I confess.
I never thought I would do anything like this. I am not someone who “diets” or goes crazy for salads and veggies (but I love pizza and chocolate). I am NOT someone who loves to workout and I still find every excuse to put it off. And before this blog, I had absolutely no experience with social media beyond posting pics of my kids on Facebooks.
But I love cooking, and I’ve had a slight obsession with everything food for as long as I remember. And then few years ago, I accepted a challenge to eat 100% clean and workout for 21 full days.
No excuses.
In just 21 Days, I learned a ton about clean eating, nutrition, and lost the rest of my pregnancy weight with real food (chocolate and pizza included) and doable workouts. And I never felt better. I had more energy, felt more confident in my own skin, and also loved all the healthy meals I was making for my family.
And I learned a secret in that 21 Days.
I learned that I could still eat all my favorite foods and make all of my family’s favorite meals, just with a healthy twist. And they would still be just as delicious.
And with some encouragement from my friends, I decided to start this blog to share simple, approachable meals that are not only healthy and clean, but so freaking good.
Now, years later, I am living my dream, creating recipes and sharing them with hundreds of thousands of readers a month! And my recipes aren’t just for people following the 21 Day Fix, they are truly for anyone wanting to make their health a priority! My recipes are 100% gluten-free, and many are also dairy-free and/or paleo. I have also recently added Weight Watchers points to my recipes because, friends, there is no single right way for any of this.
Thank you for being a part of my little corner of the internet and trusting me with your meals! It means the world to me! If you ever have any questions or comments on how I can make this site better for you, don’t hesitate to reach out…I love hearing from you.
