This 21 Day Fix Granola is the perfect make ahead breakfast or snack! Easy Homemade Granola that is gluten-free, dairy-free and refined sugar free unlike many of the prepackaged granola options in stores. This post contains affiliate links for products I’m obsessed with.
Confession # 14- I love a challenge. And taking something usually filled with sugar and making it healthy AND delicious, well that’s my kind of challenge.
This recipe comes by request…my first actual request for a “fixed” up recipe and I think I nailed it. But I’ll let you be the judge of that.
For those of you who have made my Krispie Baked Chicken recipe, I use the same brand Brown Rice Cereal for this recipe! Perfect if you already have an open box, which we always do in my house. Then I add some oats, sliced almonds, seeds and flax, and just a touch of natural sweetener before baking.
My kids love helping me making this granola, and they use it to top yogurt, banana ice cream, or alone as a snack. Leave the almonds out for a lunchbox safe option!
Lightly sweet, nice and crunchy, and totally customizable to your favorite ingredients, this Easy Homemade Granola is sure to be a new favorite! Enjoy!

Made this yesterday. It was really good. I added cranberries but I think it would be good without them too. Really liked the crunch of the brown rice cereal. FYI Your Amazon link to it says out of stock, but luckily I found some in my grocery store.

I’m curious to know the original 21 Day Fix granola recipe and how are you modified it. I can’t find the original. Thanks!
Nancylynn says
This is the recipe – took a non 21 day fix recipe and made it 21 Day Fix approved! Hope you like it!
Megan says
Why is it only 1/2 yellow for 1/4 cup dry oats/cereal? I thought that would be a whole yellow. Please advise, thank you!
Nancylynn says
1 yellow = 1/2 cup

So, so very good! Even my partner likes it, and he’s not a fan of granola!! It was very yummy on yogurt!!!
Amber N Smith says
Any idea how long this would last stored in the mason jar? This is definitely tempting to make.
Nancylynn says
I keep it for a week!
April says
Can you tell me what brown rice cereal is? (I’m a newbie…but love my granola with yogurt so this sounded right up my alley.)
Nancylynn says
Yes!!! This is the one I use!! https://www.amazon.com/Erewhon-Crispy-Cereal-Gluten-Organic/dp/B00MFCC4J6/ref=pd_sbs_325_3?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00MFCC4J6&pd_rd_r=BDC3371M2W84ZQ9GRGSS&pd_rd_w=hpUBQ&pd_rd_wg=7Z7OD&refRID=BDC3371M2W84ZQ9GRGSS&th=1

Another good one that I tried that has organic coconut sugar instead of the brown rice syrup and also gluten free in from One Degree Organic Foods called Sprouted Brown Rice Crisps. I found it at Busch’s. https://www.amazon.com/One-Degree-Cereal-Crisp-Brown/dp/B00GO6VCME/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1526842455&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=one+degree+brown+rice+crisps&psc=1&smid=A3R2L7I9DH1SSW

Thank you!!
Elaine Coloura says
Will this work without the brown rice cereal and just using oats?
Nancylynn says
I bet it will! The cereal just gives it extra crunch.
