The Best 21 Day Fix recipes of 2021 from the Blog, Confessions of a Fit Foodie! This post contains affiliate links for products I’m obsessed with.
One of my favorite posts of the year, I LOVE looking back at the top recipes from Confessions! This is a great place to also get some meal planning inspo, because these are the most popular recipes as voted by all of YOU and if there are any on here that you haven’t tried, you should ASAP!
No surprise that there are Instant Pot and Air Fryer recipes here…but I am excited to see some baked goods on the list. Dinners have always been the most popular recipes on the blog, but this year I experimented more with muffins and desserts, you guys are here for it!
Also, it goes without saying that without your support, your comments, your likes, and shares…and most of all, your trust…there would be no Confessions. So thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The most popular recipe of the year on the blog and in my home, this Hibachi Chicken recipe is the recipe I made the most in the last year and you guys did, too, which makes me super happy!
Here's what one reader had to say, "This was amazing. Very tasty! I checked the container counts so many times because I couldn’t believe I was allowed to eat something so yummy on 21 day fix!"
Ok, I actually think I maybe made these Air Fryer Chicken Thighs even more than Hibachi and you guys for sure did, too. I am obsessed with how tasty, crispy, and delish this Chicken is and I make this rub in bulk and put it on allllll the things!
LOVE this reader comment, "These were AHHHMAZING!! Such a simple recipe, but the flavor was sooo good!! One of my littles, the picky eater one, asked for “meat” for her lunch!❤ This will definitely be on our dinner rotation!"
The famous 100 calorie brownies were insanely popular this year and it just makes me so happy every time you guys make them and post! I have a few varieties of these coming out soon, too - so be on the look out!
From the comments, "These are AMAZING!!I can’t believe that these are just a tsp of oil and 2 sweeteners! They taste incredible and freeze really well which is super helpful since I want to eat them all!! Thank you thank you!!"
I grew up eating my mom's Eggplant Parmesan that was breaded and fried, so I still can't believe how much I love this low carb version that is simply roasted and not breaded! Like this is one of my top 5 recipes of all time. So, so happy you all have loved it, too!
One sweet reader said, "10 out of 10. My husband was unsure about eating eggplant, and then gobbled up half the pan."
Guys...am I allowed to say I am proud of the growing muffin content on the blog?? Because I am 😂. And these Apple Muffins were a HUGE hit in your home and in mine!
From the comments, "These are soo delicious!! My son and I just devoured a couple!! Looking forward to breakfast all week!!"
Another "muffin" recipe, although I am also ok with calling these cupcakes as they are hella delicious for breakfast or for dessert! And that cream cheese frosting 🤤 More things to come with that in 2022 for sure!
One reader said, "I made these today and just wanted to let you know they are absolutely amazing!! The icing is to die for! Thanks for all the great healthy recipes!"
Last year my Alfredo Sauce was on my top ten; this year my Pumpkin Alfredo recipe made it, too! If you haven't tried this one, you must - it's so delicious and a great way to use those extra cans of pumpkin laying around from the holiday.
A reader comment from my FB Group sums it up, "Made this and it was amazing!"
I was so happy that this post made the top ten...I feel like it gets overlooked, but those who have made it LOVE it. I plan to try it with some different veggies and proteins this winter, too. And there is nothing easier than Risotto in the Instant Pot, so if you haven't made it, you must!!
"I’m what you’d call a “functional” cook. I don’t love cooking, and I have a few really good recipes that my family repeatedly request, but this one is entirely different. My husband, who usually describes my dinners as “alright” or “good” absolutely RAVED about this dish. His description? “The most incredible dinner you’ve ever made!” Thank you for making me look good, Nancylynn!!!"
I wasn't even sure if I should post this recipe and yet so many of you have made it which is always the case and I should know that by now!
This comment is so awesome, "Made this for my niece’s wedding shower today! So many complements!"
Guys...the response to this brand new post has been incredible. This sweet reader comment sums it up, "This recipe has only been out for three weeks, and I made it for the third time today. It’s a keeper!!"
LOVE. IT.
